Originally from New York and Colombia, I discovered my passion for coding while on a pre-med path during my early college semesters. On a whim, I took a coding class—and it stuck. Since then, I’ve transitioned to the digital world, pursuing a major in Computer Science and Information Sciences, driven by my fascination with technology's impact on daily life. Now based in New York, I’m fluent in Spanish and enjoy snowboarding and weightlifting.
I was Recently a Software Developer at Adaptavist, a dynamic company, I've collaborated globally with esteemed organizations like Spotify, Atlassian, and Optum, crafting bespoke code and scripting solutions to meet clients' unique needs, focusing on empowering them to achieve software objectives with dedication to high-quality, innovative solutions in the evolving software development landscape.
With a knack for learning and a passion for improving my skills, I have completed various hackathons, intensive coding bootcamps and certifications focused on full-stack development. Through programs such as Harvard’s CS50, Udacity’s Full-Stack Web Developer Nanodegree, and The Odin Project, I have gained hands-on experience with JavaScript, React, Node.js, and more. Additionally, I have earned certifications like Meta Front-End Developer Certificate (Coursera) and Google’s Mobile Web Specialist Certification, further solidifying my expertise in modern web technologies.
Developed a cutting-edge Retrieval-Augmented AI Assistant using Python and Streamlit. The project integrates the OpenAI API, Azure AI Vision, Whisper model, and Neo4j to create a seamless, multimodal user experience. I designed and optimized reusable UI components to support voice-based interactions, chatbots, and visual inputs. By integrating Neo4j, I enabled fast, context-aware memory recall, enhancing the overall responsiveness and intelligence of the assistant.
Contributed to several open source projects on GitHub, focusing on enhancing UI components, AI applications and RAG techniques, aswell as backend API integrations, and collaborating with developers worldwide.
At Adaptavist, I played a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge solutions using modern web technologies. In a fast-paced, collaborative environment, I refined my expertise in responsive design, advanced JavaScript frameworks, and continuous integration practices. This experience empowered me to bridge the gap between creative design and robust code, directly impacting business-critical operations.
